WinCC Unified Panel Simulation (V19) SD Card Storage

tmansfield1985 Advanced Member Joined: 4/28/2015 Last visit: 4/16/2025 Posts: 7 Rating: (1)	Hello, Does anyone know if the SD Card Storage is emulated when simulating an Unified Panel (MTP1500 in this case) on the engineering PC. I am writing a csv file to "/media/simatic/X51/" which is completing successfully in simulation, but i cannot find where this file is actually stored on my engineering PC when in simulation. it would be useful to know where the SD Card Storage (and USB Storage) is emulated on the PC while we are testing projects prior to loading the project to the actual HMI hardware. Any ideas? thanks T

The Unified Comfort Panel file system is not emulated when running the simulation, so any file access must result in an error. The only storage-related functionality that works in the simulation is the tag persistence and logging databases. Kind regards Stefan
