WinCC Unified PC Runtime minimise and close button

AutoGen_8366199 Member Joined: 12/1/2017 Last visit: 3/31/2025 Posts: 15 Rating: (1)	Hi guys, I am running WinCC Unified PC Runtime V19 on the Windows PC panel. I have created desktop shortcut from Edge web browser, so user can just double click on it and it opens WinCC Runtime in full screen. I have a problem how to minimise and close this fullscreen mode. Of course user can press Windows button on the keyboard and get out, but I need some more elegant solution for this. In the old WinCC Advanced I had a button that was executing StartProgram function, and I had some extetrnal program that was written so that it minimises WinCC Advanced window, but this script is no working on WinCC Unified PC. Does anybody have some idea how can I use a button to minimise WinCC Unified PC that is open in Edge browser in full screen mode? Shortcut for this is also ALT+SPACE+N but it is not practical for user to minimise the window in that way. Also I would like to have a button that closes the WinCC Unified PC that is open in Edge browser completely.

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 4/25/2025 Posts: 15355 Rating: (1895)	Hello AutoGen_8366199 I think you would need theoretically a custom web control (CWC) for this kind of functionality, because to have access to the browser or the local ressources this has to run in a CWC container. I do not know a CWC that fits 100% but you can have a look at this this one: https://github.com/tia-portal-applications/Web-Toolbox_CWC Bye Murof
