Hi, “Simple Samples” are small projects that demonstrate simple features. The target is giving a quick overview about the theme and be used as start point for related discussions. Frequently in the automation process it is necessary to set a set-point our read the actual value of a PLC's timer. The WinCC unified supports the PLC's time format and automatically adapt the IO field to show and input time values in theirs different units (ms, seconds, minutes, hours or even days). TIP: When the unit is not explicitly expressed online, the value is understood as second unit. This simple sample bring a S7-1500 with a timer (TON), whose values are represented on the WinCC Unified. Here there are also a internal time variable and buttons with scripts to decompose it in their basic sub types (ms, seconds, minutes, hours, days) and vice versa. Project (archived and ziped).
