WinCC, update too slow

Sulung Bronze Member Joined: 5/26/2007 Last visit: 3/22/2025 Posts: 128 Rating: (3)	Hi everybody, i have PC (simatic rack, core 2 duo 2,4 GHz, RAM 2 GB, win 2000) connect to S7 319 PLC running in software redundant mode. I use 1100 digital tags and alarm logs. I have Simatic S7 manager install in this PC. My problem is: 1. while changing from one screen to another, would take couple of seconds to update. 2. i have 4 counter (2 decimal digit) to update, when i change the value, it also takes couple of second to update. (i set all the tags to update upon change). 3. When i open online ladder diagram connection (simatic manager) in the same PC. The ladder diagram takes a long time (couple of minutes) to update. My question: Does anybody know how to speed it up? thanks in advance

Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (172)	Hi you should check the files in the folder WinCC/diagnose for entries. Often programming errors in C-scripts cause a bad performance. nemo
