WinCC V11 crashes

Now what i do for repair this problem Can you provide some more details on What device you are configuring using WinCC v11? Are you using WinCC v11 SP1? What additional functionality you have added to your project since the healthy software?

After that in your new prject just delete the reports and then you try to compile. It may work without any issues. It worked this way to me, let's try for you

Anything but selecting (from right click on the device)'Compile - Software (build all)' could result in a compiler crash. ('Compile - Hardware' is fine, it is only 'Compile - Software' that will crash.Selecting 'Download to Device' & 'Start Simulation' will sometime lead to a crash (while compiling if not built before selecting)

('Compile - Hardware' is fine, it is only 'Compile - Software' that will crash.Selecting 'Download to Device' & 'Start Simulation' will sometime lead to a crash (while compiling if not built before selecting) Hello Visman, While you face such problems in HMI project, try closing the TIA Portal. Then open the IM folder within your project in Windows Explorer. Delete the contents of IM and then now open the TIA Portal. Perform the compile function again. Now you may overcome this issue. Post your comments after trying so. It works out in most of the cases.

I suspect it was to do with some corrupt polygon animations where orginally I had Visibility animation that was later replaced with Appearance animation. In the builder all looked fine but during runtime the Visibility function still seemed to be operating. To correct it I needed to create new objects anddelete the old. Since that was fixed I have not had comiler crashes.

Since that was fixed I have not had comiler crashes. Hello Visman, I faced a same issue when working with reports in Comfort Panel. Once I deleted it and tried compiing there was no issue. Hope v11 SP2 Upd 5 is more stable compared to the older ones.
