Wincc v13 - Send a Email - Comfort Panel

Dear Experts,

Wincc v13 Sp1 up5

TP900 Comfort 

Currently I am having some issues trying to send emails with a comfort panel. I am using "SendEmail" function in an Alarm`s Event but Emails could not be sent.

I am trying to find out which could be the cause but I am stuck.

I have a doubt. Could I use  twice "SendEmail" Function  in the same alarm consecutively ?.I need to send an email to two addresses.

I don't think it's a problem to use the function twice.
But it seems more important to get it working with at lest one configured mail address.
Do you get any warning/error?
Which e-mail provider do you use?

I had already done sending an email with a Comfort panel in another proyect with a SCALANCE M874, It was kind of easy. But In this new project the network is huge with many switches and I am getting crazy .

I do not manage the company's network so other people do.

The SMTP server is virtual and it is on a company's PC and moreover the panel does not have internet access

No deeded: User or Password

I get errors such as SMTP authentication or wrong email address. I have tried everything that I know without good results.

A curious thing is that if the HMI project is run in my PC, it can send emails properly but the Panel can not.

Hello guileser,

1. Please check if you can reach the SMTP server ad all. If not, you might need to contact the admins of the server.
2. Could be an issue with the port number. Port 25 is the default setting in the runtime settings of the panel, but many providers don't support it anymore. If you find out which port number your providers support you can change it accordingly.

See the FAQs chapter "Setting of the port for SMTP servers". There is a part about using the telnet command line to check the connection and a list of released ports.
