One of news of TIA V14 is the possibility to transfer HMI Projects via storage medium (e.g. USB Stick). The FAQ “How with the TIA Portal do you transfer your project to your operator panel via a storage medium (USB stick, for example)?” (https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109740696) shows how it could be done. Sometimes, however, it is more practicable to send to the end customer a new configuration internet (e-mail or FTP) as a physical USB stick. In this case, instead to transfer the HMI configuration to a USB stick, it is also possible to transfer the HMI configuration to a folder. This folder could be zipped and sent to the customer. The attached cast (zipped) shows how it could be done. On the customer side, it is necessary to unzipped the sent file and transfer the contends to a USB stick. The other steps of the open related FAQ stays unchanged. Attachmentaaa.zip (134 Downloads) |
