WinCC V6.2: Login Dialog on Insufficient Permission

What Iwant however is to only have this dialog when the system message "Insufficient Permission" is activated (e.g. after pressing a button which is not allowed by the current user). Is it possible tocatch this message in some way and connect it to an action ? // Login Dialog appears when no user is logged in. The action is called every 10 seconds #include "apdefap.h" int gscAction( void ) { if (strcmp (GetTagChar ("@CurrentUser"), "") == 0 ) { PASSLoginDialog(1); } return 0; }

Ikkezelf Posts: 1084 Rating: (72)	Hi, You could try and catch the windows handle. When this handle is active you can then open the logon screen. But I don't think this is a nice solution. You can't have it triggered on an event (the catch of the handle that is). Which means you have to check cyclic for the handle which then would consume to much cpu. Can't you teach the users to click on a logon button?

Ikkezelf Posts: 1084 Rating: (72)	HI, This is not exactly what he is referring to. When you use simatic logon and you are not logged in.. Then you get a pop-up "insufficient permission" when you have assigned a security level to this button. Your script would not be executed when you don't have enough privileges. with regards, Ikkezelf

Do not set any authorisation for any buttons you want to get this. 2. in C-script for Click Action, you can check if the logged in user has enough permission, If so - continue action, If No - display Login dialog.
