Dear Experts, I am using Toshiba Tecra-A8 Laptop to develop program for a project. Computer name is "PRKA120". The laptop is updated with all critical updates except IE7 and related updates. The Version details are 1. OS = Windows XP SP2 2. IE = Version is 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2.... 3. Step7 = Step7 V5.4+SP3+HF1 and 4. WinCC = V6.2. I have created a Single User project, inserted three graphics picture and closed the project. On opening the project again I get message "Database context doesnot exist or invalid" and the project could not be opened. No error message when installing Step7 and WinCC. All programs installed without any problem or message. I dont understand what and where the problem is. I attach the Zip file of the project created. I got some error message when I archived the project with WinRAR as a ZIP file. The attachments are 1. WinCC.jpg - Message when tried to open the WinCC project. 2. InstalledSW.jpg - Installed software 3. Licence.jpg - Installed licences. 4. WinCC Project Archive Error.txt - Error message while archiving the peoject with WinRAR. Please help me in solving this problem. I cannot attach WinCC project file due to attachment size allowed. The actual requirement is to create a WinCC Project for a Redundant Server. Please advice me if any special precaution to be taken for creating a WinCC Redundant Server project. Awaiting for your reply and guidance. Regards, Krishnan

Hi, Can you create a new project, do some changes, save project and open again? Maybe the mdf and/or ldf files are corrupt. See FAQ http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/23711489 |

Try out With WinCC 6.2 + SP2 with patch1 (download from Siemens Site) |

Dear Shiv, WinCC V6.2 SP2 - Patch1 is downloadable and it is for WinCC V6.2 SP2. But WinCC V6.2 SP2 is not downloadable and can only be ordered. Regards, Krishnan |

Try to instal WinCC V6.2 Patch 3 it is available on siemens website: https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll/csfetch/25869221/WinCCPatch_3.exe |

if you have time reinstall winCC from scratch I think it is a matter of defective files |
