WinCC V6.2 Project Opening Error

Now I cant creat new or open any existing project but getting an error "an unidentified error occur" or "thown an exception". I've gone through forum with similar problem and installed WinCC PATCH1 AND 3. but still getting the error. I've uninstalled and reinstalled wincc but the same problem remains. Could you please give me a solution if you have. Regards rit03

Have you made any configuration changes on the computer, or installed / deinstalled any software prior to the problem? Could you post your logs here? Best regards, Danielle

rit03 Silver Member Joined: 6/13/2006 Last visit: 2/11/2023 Posts: 341 Rating: (24)	Hi Danielle, Before I had installed WinCC V6.0 SP4 with SQL Server 2000 and WebNavigator v6.1. Now I have installed WinCC V6.2 with SQL Server 2005 and no WebNavigator. Which log should I post you? Thanks, Rit03

Bilal Moolla Posts: 133 Rating: (9)	Thanks for the links. A customer has the same problem. I told him to order WinCC V6.2 SP2. But we managed to get his project activated by deselecting all options besides : 1. Graphics Runtime 2. Alarm Logging And his project is opening up.
