Hi, I have tried to to redundancy, but had some problems. So I found it some kind of complex. If you first start both servers incorectly then they will work incorectly. So I had this kind of situation and then I needed to reconfigure servers from scratch and then start again. Please note that you must first completely configure master server and then generate server data and ONLY then dublicate project. Then you deactivate all clients (that was my problem), start master server after that client server and then clients. I think this should be correct way. I think the best solution for you is completely reconfigure servers and don't forget deatctivate clients until both servers go online. Hope this helps. Regards, |

Hi again, Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, in my case I have WinCC integrated inside "Simatic Manager". This software manages the whole Simatic network and therefore it is in charge of generating the Standby WinCC project. That is to say: I don't duplicate the project by myself, but it is duplicated automatically. Anyway, as you said, it seems to me that the problem is the order you stop/start the redounded servers+clients system. However, if the servers are identical replies of eachother (as Siemens says on the technical notes) this should not happend. Well, I will keep on trying and if I discover anything I will let you know. Thaks again! José |
