WinCC V6.2 SP2 clients running on Windows Vista?

SCADA-boy Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi reader, Does anybody know what version(s) of Windows Vista WinCC V6.2 SP2will be released for? I expect it to be Windows Vista Business and Ultimate Edtion. Does anybody know a timeline or datewhen Siemens will announce this release? Thanx in advance. Kind regards

April Posts: 1776 Rating: (95)	Hi, have you seen the compatibility list http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/21927773 I don´t believe that V6.2 SP2 will be released for Vista. Maybe this will be the next WinCC Version (V6.2 SP3 or V6.3 or whatelse) ButI don`t heard anything a time

It's getting slightly more difficult to get pc workstations nowadays with a Windows XP installation (which might not improve I guess...). Support also informed that it was not clear when WinCC is going to be released on Windows Vista.

Support also informed that it was not clear when WinCC is going to be released on Windows Vista. I can free downgrade Vista Buissnes to XP Pro as Dellhave done on my laptop when I bought.
