Wincc via TCP/IP to S/-300

Marques Posts: 126 Rating: (2)	I have a project that has been working in TCP/IP using the PC ethernet card to an CP343-1 , but i have been forced to format the drive and now i am having problems to establish communication again. I am using WinCC V6.0 SP2, and SIMATIC NET V6.2 to communicate via Ethernet. I proceed to a new installation of Windons XP SP1, then i have follow the installation sequence: -Intalling MS Message Queuing -Intalling SQL Server 2000 -Installing WinCC V6.0 SP2 -Installing Simatic Net V6.2 I already verify that the user belongs to the SIMATIC group, and i have all the licenses needeed, because i remove the licenses before format. In think that the Simatic Net is the reason, but i am not sure. Can you tell me what could be wrong? Thanks. Marques

Remember you need to configure an access path in here and then also configure that in the WinCC project under the communication channel driver -> TCP/IP -> System Parameters. Have you already done this ? If so can you explain exactly what is not working and any errors you are seeing in the diagnose directory ? Marques Posts: 126 Rating: (2)	I don´t have any firewall activated, the windons intalled is Windons XP SP1. I don´t have any other software installed. Do i need to configure Simatic Net, what configuration? Regards.

In the diagnose folder i can see that the project can not establissh communication, but i don´t nowwhat the errors code mean. I am sending the diagnose folder, ina file. Regards. This usually points to an inconsistency between the PG-PC Interface and the System Parameters but you have already checked this. What exactly is set configured in the System Parameters ? Marques Posts: 126 Rating: (2)	In the System Parameters of the Driver Connection,am pointing directly to the network card, and in the PG/PC i have selected S7ONLINE ->TCP/IP - The Network Card. I also can tell you that the IP adresses are corretly configured, ihave areplyfrom CP343 using a ping command.

Marques Posts: 126 Rating: (2)	I have another information that can be helpfull: i removed the Softnet License for Simatic Net and when i tried torun the Wincc project, should appeara warningábout themissing license, but this does not happens. Thats why i think that is missing something for Simatic Net drives to work. I have installed Simatic Net 6.2with NCM components. Somethingis missing me, can anyone help???

Well about the Softnet Licence I am sure that you do not need it necessarily because WinCC uses the BCE Driver, in certain versions. This allows also Communication on Ethernet. I just would like to know what TSAP you use. The TSAP says everything about the location in the PLC. I think it should be something like 03.02 but I would like to know what you have entered in the Connection configuration. Could you post a Screenshot of this? Best regards J_Bell

You've established that the driver is correctly installed, since you can ping. PG/PC Interface and System Parameter have been checked, so that leaves us with the registry. Did you have any problems during Simatic Net Installation? Have you tried re-installing it?
