Dan 001 Experienced Member Joined: 5/14/2007 Last visit: 12/9/2024 Posts: 14 Rating: (1)	Hi, Has anybody experience with using WinCC server RT and WinCC client RC as a engineering station across VPN connection?I mean, WinCC server would be placed locally in factory, and WinCC RC client would be connected to the server by internet (across e.g. scalance s) as a engineering station.This connection would not be set up permanently just for maintenance.D.

But I don't think that this isn't possinble. Look at Integration of Remote WinCC PCs Into the Closed System .. And then after establihsed the connection must prepare necessary settings in WinCC Server. Look at How do you establish a remote connection to a server? Hope this will helps. regards
