Hello Navnag, you have two possibillities: - The first possibility isto use two WebServers. The first onemust be installed in WinCC V6.0 and will be connected as a MultiClient for example with your WinCC V6.0 Servers of your plant. The second must be installed in WinCC V6.2 and will be connected with your WinCC V6.2 Servers of your plant. After this you can install all WebClients in WinCC WebNavigator V6.2 and you can connet to both WebServers (V6.0 and V6.2). The reason for this ist that the WebNavigatorClient Software is downwards compatible. - The second possibility is to upgrade your WinCC V6.0 Server to WinCC V6.2 and install only one WebServer in WinCC V6.2. The advantage is that you only must connect to one WebServer and is not necessary to switch to the other WebServer if you want to operate the WinCC Server in the other version. But it is your decision which possibillity you choose. But itis not possible to connect one WebServer to WinCC V6.0 and V6.2, because every WebServer must be a WinCC Server or WinCC Client and it is not releasedto communicate with a WinCC Server of a other version. Hello, to answer your questions.
On principal you only need a WebNavigator licence on your WebNavigator Server (Multiclient or WinCCServer) but you can not connect this WebNavigator Server to your Single stations and therefore you will need a WebNavigator licence on your WebServer which is connected to your WinCC Server and a WebNavigator licence on all Single stations. Therefore I think it is necessary to contact your local sales consultant if it would be better to use all your Single stations as a WebServer or if it would be better to use one or two additional WinCCServer instead of your Singlestations. But I think it is not possible to discuss this here in the forum. But if you and your service consultant decide to use your Single stations further you should consider that you have to login on every WebServer again.
Yes, because your WebServer is a normal WinCC Station (Client, Server or SingleStation) with the WebNavigator Option on his back. Therefore you need the WinCC and WebNavigator licences on each WebNavigator Server.
You should conifgure your Client or Server first as a normal WinCC Station and connect it to all other WinCC Server (Packages). If the communication works you can create your WebSite (WebConfigurator) and publish your *.pdl`s (WebPublisher). After this steps you only have to change/add your Users in the Useradmin of your WebNavigator Server and set the checkbox for using this users forWebNavigator login. Cumu |
