WinCCFlex Download time using TCP/IP

I notice that the downloading time for the fwx file to the HMI PC has different value. Sometimes it require at list 5 seconds to download 5Mb file, sometime require up to a couple of minutes for the same size.
This difference happens even I plug a cross cable instead or using a hub or switch either.
I noticed same issue also using Siemens PC or any other different brandt.

I just was curious to know the reason why.....

I noticed also with WinCCflex 2005 and the same with WinCC flex 2007 (that I'm using right now).

It is there anybody knows the reason why?

Hi Manfred,

I noticed there is no difference using different release of WinCCFlex.
The LAN transfer mode is used for the download and I noticed the different time required using standard PC and embedded PC (477 series) always WinXPPro (embedded for 477).
I don't know the reason why sometimes the download require 4 minutes and sometime 30 seconds only.
What is getting me curious is that I can face this difference without changing any software or component and it change during the day while I'm testing up the machine (example this morning was fast and during afternoon getting slower or vice-versa)

I tried using cross cable, ethernet switch, hub, but I notied always the same difference.

I suppose this is something outside of the WinCCFlex and I just want to know if there is someone facing the same issue and may be someone fixed it.
