winncc flex cannot load communication drivers

kenan_kapidzic Posts: 35 Rating: (0)	hello all i have the following problem. i am trying to install a wincc flex touch panel on a profibus network but i keep getting error messages about being disconnected from the plc, interferance on the bus, and communication drivers not being loaded. i have tried using different panels with the same project and got the same problems, so i know that the panels are not the problem. i have moved the panel to different segments of the bus and still got the problems. all other devices on the bus are working fine, so i know the bus is not the problem.there are existing panels with different projects on the network that are working. the new project has the same communication settings as the existing panels, with the exception of the profibus address. the new touch panel works on a test plc rack but not in the field. the test plc rack has the same setup as the plc rack in the field. also, the existing touch panels that are working have projects that were converted from protool to wincc flex. the new panel that is not working has a project that was created in wincc flex. so any ideas on why this panel is not connecting to the profibus network in the field? thank in advance

Yanto Posts: 54 Rating: (2)	have you configured your new network address in the plcand downloaded it? If you have the system should show bus fault when the screen is not connected.

I have understand from your words that you have migrated the software from protool to winCC flexible. Did you checked the area pointer settings? And please write here the error message that appear on the TP when you connect it to the CPU.

When compiling: 0 errors and 0 warnings. And when connecting to the CPU, it gives me a message of connection disconnected and also another message. I do not remember it very well, but there was a problem in the address of Project ID in the area pointer. When I modified it to the old settings of the Protool, the conection established. So begin with Project ID address. I think it will solve your problem If I remember well, in my project: Project ID (protool: DB10.DBW0) Project ID (WinCC flex: DB1.DBW0). And I changed it back to DB10.DBW0 and it works. Please try and feed back us. What should you pay attention to when configuring a Project ID area pointer? What should you pay attention to when configuring a project ID on the Mobile Panel 177 / 277 with battery pack?
