Fifer Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hi, when I open up winpcin I get the error message ( error initializing VBComm. please select new settings). If I cancel the WINPCIN will open up as normal can anyone give me some pointers, does this effect anybackups I make? Cheers.

Are you using a inbulit comport / USB to serial adapter / PC slot RS232 Serial adapter? Goto your device manager select the Ports(COM & LPT) selct your proper comport and baud rate settings..... So, ignore the alarm since you work offline. It might be a issue when you can't download programs with it. Good luck Nit
