Hi, on my unit if I disconnect the wire from the PT100 the value of the AI is 0. Even in the manual there is no wire brake detection noted. |

Hello, It is an old thread but I am facing the same issue. I tried to use the method described in the attached document, downloaded from here, to detect PT100 wire break with an AM2 RTD card. I downloaded the example on actual hardware but what happens is that there is no difference between short circuit or wire break. In both short & wire break, the card outputs 0 (raw) or -500 (scaled). Is it possible that the official example is wrong, or I am missing something. The only diffirence between the example and the hardware, is that my LOGO! is FS04.
