Hello, do you want to build up a wireless LAN connection or over Internet and mobil? for WLAN, you can use "normal" WLAN-Routers, if you do not use PROFINET. For radio communication over GPRS/UMTS etc., a VPN tunnel is required. This can be etsablished with SCALANCE M874, SCALANCE S, CP1243-1, CP343-1 Advanced + M873... Hello, now, i am a liitle bit confused. You mentioned, you want to use Wireless LAN. But all the components, youwrote, are for GPRS (CP1243-7, M873..). With Wireless LAN, you can use all SCALANCE WModules like http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/68852094 You need one Access Point, and x Clients. If The PLCs are all placed at the same place, you can conncet these plc to ONE Client. For example: AP ====wireless =====client1 & PLC S7-300 client2 & S7-1200 client3 & ET200S It doesn´t matter, which kind of PLC is behind the WLAN Client.... If you want to use GPRS/UMTS, you can not use SCALANCE W. Therefore, you need SCALANCE M800 for ET200S and S7-300, CP1243-7 for S7-1200. |
