wireless communication with RF module

sumair.. Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	Dear Expert I want a wireless communication between PLC with HMI (WinCC) using RF module adapters plus MPI. Basic idea is this i want to connect the transmitting pin of MPI adapter with the transmitter data pin, which then transfer data to its receiver, the receiver's data pin is connected to the RX (receiving pin) of RS-232 and RS232 is plug into serial COM port of computer. J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Dear SQ, I fear your major problem is that MPI is not RS 232, it is RS 485. (physically) So I guess you will have problems solving this. As far as I have in my mind there are already some solutions with wireless MPI or wireless PROFIBUS but sadly not by SIEMENS. I hope you will find your solution. Best regards J_Bell
