Hi, I was wiring an analog output(4-20mA) from an S7 314C-2DP to an anlog input of a Micromaster 440 When i look at theCPU314C-2DP manuals Page 276-277 MM440 manual Page 74for the block diagram I got to wire the ampere signal(pin17) to the analog input of the MM440 terminal 3 and the ground to the Pin20 of the s7 connector and to terminal 4 of the MM440 This way i wired my application and this worked But just to be sure i looked at an application at the factory that has the same configuration S7-314C-2DP analog Outout to analog input of MM440 And the wiring was different, not like the manual Here the Ampere signal was connected to terminal 3 of the micromaster And the Voltage signal was connected to the terminal 4 of the micromaster440 I checked the speed setpoint and this works fine :$ :$ Is this a good way of wiring the analog output? |

Hello dendhondt, this wiring is ok, but you must also change at the MM440 the P0756 and also the DIP-switch for AI. Please look at this link look at chapter 3.11 page 88 (pdf 93) and the follow. I hope this is helpful for you. regards |
