Wiring of Inputs in 313C

haris_usama Posts: 81 Rating: (2)	Dear Sir/Madam, I have a CPU 313C with 24DI/16D0 and 4AI/2AO's. I need to wire the first integrated module i.e the one with 8 digital inputs along with analog I/O's. I do not have any analog signals at this time so I only need to use the 8 Digital Inputs, however I do not have any idea where to connect the L+, M connections, I have successfully wired the remaining Digital I/O's in the next Integrated module. Your urgent response in this regard would be highly appreciated. Best regards, Haris Usama

dchartier Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 9/27/2006 Last visit: 10/3/2023 Posts: 12153 Rating: (2624)	Hello Haris; Yes you could have done that way, or you could have looked at the Compact CPUs reference manual.The manual is available as an attachment, if you do not have it with you: You would have found the wiringschematic for the integrated IOs of CPU 313C (see fig. 7.3), and you would have seen that pin 40 is used, as 3M (ground connection for the 4th group of IOs).
