Hi, A good first approximation to work memory and load memory is compare to a PC: Work memory of a PLC is like a RAM of a PC; load memory of a PLC is like a HD of a PC. Detailed information can be found in FAQs: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/7302549 and http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/7302326 You can find the size of Work and Load memory of your project in the properties of tab “Block” of your project (in Simatic Manager). In same way the size of a block can be found in your properties. |
