Dear Friends,

I have requirement to write expression with comparing character, One of I/O filed  I do not want to access if tag comparison with character, I mean can someone share for comparison with character.

for exaple

There is one i/o field say Requested weight  data type floating point, I want user can only input if material is not for example Aluminum which is entered in other i/o filed data type is RAW DATA type

I must say, I don't get your requirement, sorry. :)

I pick some statements of your post and try to interpret them:

• "to write expression": Do you mean, you want to solve your problem with a script?
• "One of I/O filed": Do you want to process the given input of an IO field?
• "I do not want to access if tag comparison with character": Do you only want to process the value of the IO field, if it's not a character?
