With this one you can do the cyclic communication via your telegram (e.g. telegram 111) and additionally you can also do acyclic communication to read or write drive parameters like traversing blocks or also free selectable parameters like p2587 etc.

UDT30009 is for speed control as far as I see from the manual but you need position control.

You should use telegram 111 in the drive when using EPOS. Therefore you then would need UDT30008. Also the example DB is then DB72 I think.

(I didn't try it out myself, I just quickly read the manual - this is what I recommend to you as well, I think it is quite well described what to do in chapter 3.3 -> option B) )

From the error it seems that something is wrong with the DB configuration (probably wrong UDTs). Please also note that you need to restart the PLC after a change to reinitialize.
