Writing bits on 95U via SI2

Gdelawin Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello everyone I'm looking at the communication between a 95U and my computer via the SI2 of my CPU i use the software TABDIAL32 to send the request from the Pc to the PLC reading and writing words is ok reading bits is ok (i have to use register adresses multiple of 16 : 0, 16, 32..) writing bits is not ok i don't understand why, i tried to write from adresses multiple of 16, i tried to write a number of datas multiple of 4 ( 1 bit, 4bits, 8bits, 12bits, 16bit, 32bits) i want to write on the DB101 DW165.0 to DW165.9 (which corresponds to bits number 2640 to 2649) can anyone help me about that problem?

Even STEP5 Force VAR Function ( Used from changing values of PLC Variabled from PG ) dows not allow you to modify DB bits. Only Word / Double Word values van be modified from "Force VAR" I think ( Though, I have not seen any documentation confirming this ) that Siemens HMI softwares like PROTOOL , WinCC and WinCC Flexible use a workaround this. All data Bit Tags have to be specified as DW / DD Bits. The Runtime softwares reads the complete DW / DD , updates the indivual bits specified in the tag and writes the whole DW / DD to the PLC.
