there is a limitation that you can only store less than 256 files in the root path of an SD Card or USB Stick. But if you create own folders there is no limitation.

Also there is no reachable limitation in writing lines to a Text or csv File.

The only thing is to be sure that the script is finished before the next cycle starts. so 10 seconds it should be possible but if you want to write every 500ms I would not reccomend.
