Hi all,

so I would like to show a "wrong log-in" message on the HMI when the user put the wrong password... 

Would be perfect if also shows how many times it was wrong (there is a limit set) and perfect if also shows when it become unhautorized because of too many errors.

Any idea on how to realize this?

Hi Dan,

you could evaluate system alarm 260000 to execute actions, e.g. show your own popup saying that log-in was not successful.

 I admit I have no idea how to check/evaluate system alarms... 

Can You explain or tell me where to find the documentation related?

I am currently checking Tia Portal help right now, but still no luck.

EDIT:

Ok it can be done directly on the HMI System message page adding an event... Tia Portal has so many windows and options that i always find something new hidden...

You can use the event of a systemalarm to do something:

(does not work for Basic Panels!)

And you have to do soemthing to receive Login Information as messages:

I am newbie with TIA and I am facing the same issue.

Unfortunately, in Events, I only have the message "The selected object has no events" :(

Does it mean I am on a "Basic Panel" ?

I work with a KTP700 Basic...

If so, any way to inform the user that password is wrong ?

I have the same kind of issue when I try to change the password. If the new password does not respect the password complexity, the user is not informed and the password is not changed...
