I have a pretty technical question:

Simotion D425-2, scout TIA 4.4, hmi KTP 700 in profinet.

There is also one ET200s in profinet.

Our customer gave us the remote acces through a VPN, so I configured my X130 port with an IP compatible with VPN of customer.

The profnet ports (the three ports) are of another IP class (11.0.1.X) and the HMI has 11.0.1.20 for example.

So, from my office I can go online perfectly with Simotion (X130), but there's no way of remotely aggess the hmi.

Any idea on how could be possible to make Simotion routing for me ?

Well, I am using the three profinet ports (cannot remember the X name). I must use another simotion port (X130) since network of customer is different from machine's internal network...

So bridging is a must I think, Jeff

Do you have an open port on your IM151?  Just curious, I'm going to try to set up a remote connection soon, (4G router) but I want to talk to everything S-D, PLC, HMI, Drives.  I'm trying to figure out how to make it work.

the IM151 has 2 ports, of course, but they are profinet, so u can't program them with different IP addresses.

For the rest I think that if simotion does bridging corretly then it's all ok
