I was between 300 and 400H redundant to use a Y-Link. Y-Link I found this site looking for material for two articles. One manual "Y-Link Bus Coupler, Version 2" (or "A" referred to) Another foul put the FAQ "Configuring an S7 CPU as DP slave on the H system using a Y-Link" (or "B" referred to) "A" side project does not register the 300 station. "B" side projects that have registered a 300 station. What exactly is the correct one? SIMATIC Manager V7.0 software is used. Thanks for reading

Safety1 Posts: 73 Rating: (20)	Hi Jey, The Y Link should be used with the 400H only. S7 SW Redundancy does notsupport the Y Link. You can however connect an S7300 as a slave to a Y-Link. I think this is what you are referring to.

Krrish !! Posts: 73 Rating: (6)	Hello, I think option B would work fine. You will have to configure the S7-300 PLC as a DP Slave over the Y-link Master System. You can do this by inserting appropriate GSD file for your S7-300 CPU. Please refer the link belowto download theGSD file for your CPU.
