http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQYc1osNLT8&feature=em-upload_owner#action=share my router is a 2001 northwood 3 axis with a moving table. started a flycut on friday and as the head moves left to right the z axis stays the same. as the table moved foward on each pass, the z axis would raise up .0055", so that the back is .2564" thicker than the front. ran some other testlike routing just a large rectangle 4"in from all edges of the board and it did the same thing. it started after i adjusted an r parameter for the x axis in a tool change because it started missing the tools as it went to pick them up.I had called northwood and they had no clue. I called siemens and they had no clue. I have tried setting the r parameter back , but it still cuts the same. anyone have any ideas on this? the video posted is of the machine screen as i ran the rectangle. even when you watch the program cycle thru the code as it runs, it has no mention of the z axis unless it is when the head comes up to get the tool and when it plunges, then when it puts the tool back. its not programmed in and if i jog the axis individually it does not do it. only when running the programs. even tried 2 seperate drawing progams just to see if that was it and it wasn't.
