So PT100 sensor is as same as RTD & TC sensor? |

Hello Hassan Sabbah; You have 2 ways to connect a RTD/TC temperature sensor to a Siemens S7 AI module: - you connect it directly to a RTD/TC AI module (with or without compensating wire). These specialized AI modules are designed to read the very low mV signals from these sensors, in which case you divide the input signal by 10.0 to read the temperature value in centigrade, as you can see in the tables of Ch. 5 of the S7-300 module data manual. - you add a RTD to 4-20 mA converter (or a TC to 4-20mA converter) between the sensor and the 4-20 mA AI module you are using in the S7 rack.in thst case, you have to scale the 4-20 mA signal to a temoerature result, and then ypi need FC105 "SCALE". I have already proposed the S7-300 module data manual, look at the specifications of the analig input modules (and the signals they are designed to work with) in ch. 6.
