S7-300 rack fault

Good day,,

We are encountering issues with our S7300 CPU system.

When we power up the rack the PLC starts all other connected IOs are functioning, then after a couple of minutes, part of the rack IOs shows SF while the IO connected to the IM module remains healthy.

Hello GazaFSO;

When you lose connection with your I/O modules, are you still able to connect to the CPU with Step 7? If so,, try opening the Diagnostic Buffer of the CPU and capture the messages logged there. Use the Save As..button n the diagnostic Buffer screen, this will copy all the diagnostic messages to a diagnose.txt file that you can share with us in your next message.

Maybe with that information we can provide some guidance.

Now the system is healthy it might be caused by an external signal.

But I am still having issues to upload the full program to PG. First I could not verify the right TIA portal, I tried to check it under Online & Diagnostics / General tab but I could not see TIA portal version there.

When I tried version 12 and then tried to upload both software and hardware I ended up with the following error '' The online module 6ES7 315 2FJ14 0AB) V3.2 does not support uploading to PG which as far I I knew it is related to issues in the software version I am using.

 Well, I did try to use simatic manager and a notification was saying that the project was created by TIA

I could not find (Version of the TIA portal project) and instead I found (Firmware Expansion).
