TIA installation and SQL

In the installation setup I have this message: "this productwill install sql server 2005 on your system. this installation could fail due to the existing installation of sql server 2008 on your system. please refere to the readme file and procede as per the description in order to get a proper installation of that product". I tryed to remove sql2008 but nothing, I tryed to remove sql2005 but the message is always the same and I cannot go on with the installation. My OS is Win98SP3. Someone can help me?. Thanks. Jiu.
