Can you indicate who can help me? I have a task at work and must ask people around me how to do it. Can you assist? We have at our plant a lot of Siemens stuff an I must connecte them toghether. We have 6 burners controlled by RWF 40 and 6 x S7/1200 1214 controller with own HMI. Now I must make that many parameters shown on these HMI to be vizible on a Standard PV display. Are you kind to tell me what extra stuff do I need? Which version of WinCC, scalance? etc Do you have such experience with S7/1200? Thanks in advance. Best regards, Cornel, Romania

It also seems to be able to communicate over Modbus: http://www.beckettcorp.com/protect2/techsuppt/product-manuals/rwf40modbus.pdf If this module only controls boiler load from a setpoint, I would rather try to hardwire process and load to burner to your PLC and get rid of these controllers.

Best regards, Cornel, Romania Hi , So simple u can connect any brand PLC with Wincc. Wincc is Supervisory Control and Data Acquasition System. it is like open software for all PLC makes and other than this it will work independently as a PC based automation system. Now the points considered for your process: 1. How many tags you need.(How much data you are going to take from each PLC) 2. Scalance is not a issue for your process consider 2nos of 8 port switch(SCALANCE) 3.RWF 40 i don't know about this. You have to tell which communication protocols it will support? if it support TCP/IP then it is so easy to communicate in common network.
