Since the number of Alarms is immense inside DB, I think you shall go for using indirect addressing to go though the conditions of the alarm causes and the bits of alarms inside the DB with few networks of programming,

While that you shall take the reply of "Navnag" into consideration.

But if your knowledge for Indirect addressing is not so well

I think you shall start doing it one by one quickly
