Hello Avatar_tr; You have to choose (from KFoldesi's attached picture, taken from the S7-300 module data manual https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/8859629) whether you are going to connect your PT 100 as a 2-wifre, 3-wire or 4-wire RTD (the main difference is in the resulting precision of the reading). https://www.omega.ca/en/resources/rtd-2-3-4-wire-connections Once the PT100 connection is properly done and the Analog card correctly parameterized (see the S7-300 Module data proposed earlier), then you will get a value in the PIW___ register selected by the HWConfig editor for that channel. This value is a multiple of 10.0 of the actual temperature. If you read 255 in (for example) PIW258, then the temperature read is 25.5. So take your PIW reading, convert it to a REAL, divide by 10.0 and you will get the correct temperature reading. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
