Thanx Hello You change either PC IP ADDRESS TO 192.168.103.5 or ELSE change PLC IP ADDRES TO 192.168.0.9 Whichever is convenient to you. Note: you need to maintain IP Address of both PC & PLC in Same Range i hope this will solve your problem. Thanx for reply, I understand that the IP must be in the same range and subnet, however this should not affect the communication if using ISO protocol which only uses MAC address to communicate... correct?

Determined by the adress ip and subnet mask What is the purpose of the "IE-PG Access" tab under the Interface properties of the "Set PG/PC Interface"? "The IP addresses described here are needed by STEP7 if the node is in a different subnetwork than the local IP address of the programming device. STEP7 creates additional IP addresses on the local programming dervice / PC for this purpose." Should this allow for having a Dynamic IP on your laptop and a different Staticneton your PLC?
