Controls_Engineer Posts: 60 Rating: (1)	Dear All, I am new to STEP5. I know onlydownload and upload programs from and to the CPU. I want to open blocks in offline and need to understand the ladder diagram (My backup prog attached) . Also the ladder should be displayed with symbols. Kindly guide me with simple steps . If you don't have the "source" project and only have backup, I am afraid that you'll see only I0.0... To catch the logic inside you should use electrical drwaings and also to know the basic of application which is controling by this CPU. Regards

Under the Menu: "File\Project\Set" Tab: "3 Symbol File" Set the name of Symbol File under: "Symbole File:" Tick the "Display Symbols" To edit the Symbol File, you may use the Menu "Editor\Assignment List F7" Hope it help! RPvM Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	Yes, there are symbols present. Just open the PR0732Z0.SEQ with a simple editor like notepad and you'll see. I'll see if I can make a PDF-printout of your program and upload it today. Regards, Ronald
