Want to change the size of faceplate within faceplate

I'm trying to do the same thing, but i want to change the size during runtime.

To be more specific, i want to change the size of my faceplate within my faceplate, because i have some hidden properties that i want to show only when i click that specific button, is there a way?

As far as i know that is not possible.

What I would do is have two faceplates, one smaller with lesser info and one bigger with more info.

If you have a button (or faceplate) on your screen that opens the smaller one 

 then on the button for the smaller one, to show the extra functions

with V17 this is now possible. There you can get the properties via Script.

Faceplate.Parent refers to the faceplate-container that has the width/heigth properties you want to adjust.

With V16 this was not possible to do fromt he inside of the Faceplate

Stefán, don't you have a conflict when you have a button "open big faceplate" on a small faceplate and a button "open small faceplate" on a big faceplate?

Because it seemed that I have such conflict. I can release just one of these faceplates, but when I try to make a release for the other one I got a message:

Invalid version dependecies for big_faceplate v 0.0.11.
Type version big_faceplate v 0.0.11 cannot be created or released because it is dependent on other versions of the same type. (0.0.10)

 Honestly, I don't remember and I don't have it in my test program anymore but I usually have it so I can change the type from outside the faceplate.

In V16 I used text list  

let Type = HMIRuntime.Resources.TextLists("PopUpList").Item(index).Item(HMIRuntime.Language);

let PopUp = Faceplate.OpenFaceplateInPopup(Type, "Name", false, false);

In V17 I now use Properties Interface

let Type = Faceplate.Properties.PopUpType;

let PopUp = Faceplate.OpenFaceplateInPopup(Type, "Name", false, false);

That way I don't have any problem releasing the newest versions and I can change what PopUp I want displayed within the runtime if need be. In my case we have, for example, a motor PopUp where we have only need one icon type on the overview but not all the motors are reversable yet some are, it´s easy to define which PopUp to use from outside the faceplate.
