It was already talked about years ago that it would have been correct to make Siemens its own cloud application. They have not deemed it necessary...

Initially, however, Siemens could only limit itself to some kind of 8.4. Otherwise, in the form of 9.0, we will get a third reincarnation in total, whose expansion modules do not fit the previous base modules. The case of 0BA6/0BA7 and 0BA8 is a cautionary example in this regard.

Wi-Fi in industrial automation is an extremely dubious approach. If at all, as a separate module, for example in a CIM expansion slot.

CIM is not a bad solution in terms of idea and can potentially replace both CSM and CMR modules with one device.

Sloppy programming and inadequate quality control, as well as an unwillingness to fix things. The same issue as with the LOGO Web HTTPS certificate - Siemens is a CA whose certificate has been available in all browsers for a long time, but the same company has not been able or wanted to sign the certificate of its own product with it. As a result, anyone who wants to use an encrypted LOGO Web connection with a browser must load some sort of Self-Signed certificate into their browser and mark it as trusted. To each computer separately.

To be honest, I have never understood the point of this Webcam at LWE. LOGO has nothing in common with the camera, and in order to create a link, a separate option should not be created. Similarly, the PDF link seems to be a strangely half-baked solution. So why can't it already be that I can put ANY file (not only .pdf) on the memory card and download it later through the browser?

Monochrome LCD has one big plus - it can be read even without backlight. Considering how tiny this screen is and besides, it's not designed to display graphical information, there's no real point in changing the screen. Instead, it could be possible to change field lengths if it is known that some of the displayed values can only be two digits long. Currently, field lengths are fixed.

It is simply too small for HMI.

I will also put one of my thoughts.

The Float/Int converter has an output eAq, which is not much to do with. If the value of Aq is 32767, then there is no way to know if this value is an overflow or if it is really 32767. Some kind of M flag or math error block could be used to detect the overflow.

 I use the Webcam function and like it a lot. We build OEM machines that dispense product from a walk up customer. If they experience a problem, they cll the operation center. The camera enables us to visually see the issue (sometimes) and the person needing help. A big plus for the LOGO.

The Amazon Cloud with LWE is a nice touch, but I agree Siemens should find a more reasonable option. Amazon is quite expensive to get the hobby or large scale charges to be justified. 

A similar range of competitors' products have even more functions
