Maybe PTO interface of any S7-1200 CPU can solve your problems? http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/38391227 I heard about development of a modem module, but don't know when. I think you have to had some patience.

Robster Gold Expert Joined: 5/28/2008 Last visit: 10/23/2024 Posts: 1343 Rating: (141)	Ok, if I understood right, you won't have technical functionallity of EM253, e.g. the line drive outputs with 200kHz, you only want to drive profiles by wizard? So I'm sorry to tell you that there is no wizard and I can't believe there will be one in future. But, in my opinion, with S7-1200 it is easier to get PTO-Outputs working. You have the Technological object - axis. With them you can easy parametrize the PTO for a real mechanical axis with PLC Open motion control standard. With the motion control function blocks, it is no problem to program some profiles. The best way, to learn more about this, is to try the application I posted on Thursday. If you want to have real profiles, I can recommend you the SINAMICS S110 drive. With the newest firmware this drive works also with PTO and USS interface. By using USS interface you can configurate the drive with up to 16 profiles (traversing blocks).
