ProTool / Pro 6.0 strartup problem

joegri Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi everyone I have installed Protool / Pro CS+RT 6.0 SP2 and when I try to start the program (CS) it doesn't work and an error message come : Cannot find dynamic link library S7OTBXDX.dll I try to search this file on the installation CD or in my computer but it doesn't exist... My OS is Windows 2000 Pro SP2 and my Siemens software are : STEP 7 5.2 SP1 WinCC 5.1 PLCSIM 5.2 Could anyone help me ! [:D]

No funny messages or anything? Did you install with full administrator privileges? You must be logged on as admin to install. It's also in data1.CAB file on my ProTool CD. Hope this helps.

Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (171)	Hello, normally I try to avoid to install ProTool and WinCC on the same PC. As far as I know this has not been released. I know it´s hard but I´d deinstall and then reinstall again - but then just Protool OR WinCC e.g. on harddisk which can be exchanged easily http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/189025 nemo

I know that some problems can happen with WinCC Flexible and WinCC on the same PC. Usually means reinstalling Flexibla again and it's ok. I was just about to install WinCC but maybe I'll wait a while now [:D]
