Simodrive 611 error "E A807"

What could be the reason and how to overcome the error? In the manual is saying: OC/intermediate stop missing Cause When starting a traversing block the ”operating condition/intermediate stop” input signal is not set. Remedy Set the ”operating condition/intermediate stop” input signal and then re–start the traversing block. Acknowledgement not required Stop response STOP VII Where to set that input signal? There is/was a problem with reset button. If you pressed, it is keep itself pressed. Even using a tool (clamps, screwdriver) was difficult to release it back. And because on the ruck was not enough place to 'play' with that button I dismount the module. When I returned back and power on, the error was not there. BTW there was not possible to reset that fault using an external reset (input) button connected and configured into the drive like RESET. There are using two inputs (proximity switches for movement limits), one input ENABLE and 24 VDC external power supply, reset. I will follow the case and will update the thread. Deleted User Posts: 767 Rating: (69)	Hello UMENCHO, Assuming the movement limit switches were not activated somehow, I believe it likely the RESET switch may be mechanically damaged due to much use to where it may need to be replaced. I once had a limit switch which appeared to be operating properly by measuring resistance for contact closure, but in actual application it would not activate at proper time. Once limit switch was replaced with an identical new switch machine operated properly. This could be a similar case for the RESET switch. Best Regards, Deputy
