tavi Advanced Member Joined: 1/30/2006 Last visit: 1/22/2024 Posts: 50 Rating: (7)	I have a built-in DC Motor on a grinding machine and the old drive is dead so I try to replace the old drive with an old but not used 6RA27 . I took the manual and read and folowthe instruction but when I try to test the converter without the motor I have F47 alarm and with motor the fuse is blown. Pls advice about the correct tunning as per a novice in DC converter and motors. Thanks a lot.

Marcjan Platinum Member Joined: 4/22/2010 Last visit: 11/18/2024 Posts: 5697 Rating: (715)	Hello, How long was this drive not used, if more than1.5 years, it could be damaged by just connecting power to it, F47 is Fault message from thyristor diagnosis. Blown fuse indicates to that too. All drives not used for a long time(1.5 or more years)should not be connected to main power at once ! Do you have the complete MLFB of the drive for us and motor datasheet? Regards, Marcjan
