Simodrive 611 Trouble Shooting/Repair

6SN1118-0NJ00-0AA2---its correct name should be SIMODRIVE 611U CONTROL BORAD , resolve feedback--normally we don't call it drive. this one is very less trouble as I know

108 A power section you can call it drive, this one is most possible trouble 

I did not read your long text, however, I have more 30 years working in automation, not only for Siemens but also other manufacturers. the gernal rule I suggest you --

You cannot be easy to find root cause --in the mult- devices in unknow condition. YOU MUST KNOW ALL DEVICES MUNUS ONE, the one you will know after you test it working

for example, you must have motor, cables,drive, control cards, and so on, you must know all they are good or brand new, now you have a unkonwn spindle motor, you can test it--to see if it working good or know, 

I try to help you, but (maybe Language issue, what is your country language?) but it seems we are always NOT talking on the same page. --I can suggest you, followed 100% my instruction, or let me you don't need my help any more.

Here is my suggestion: SIMODRIVE 611U , I told you is a very good drive system in Siemens drive history , I have been used it for about 30 years (until yesterday) I always use it to testing --don' worry for discontinued , there are more tens of thousand items for this system on line markect

Now follow my instruction , and call evey device what i call and it is Siemens calling

in your 611U system you have 

Infeed: module 16/21 KW ---6SN1145-1BA01-0BA1

611U control card, resolve feedback---  6SN1118-0NJ00-0AA2--(no one call it drive,)

Power Section -108A---  6SN1123-1AA00-0LA0

you have SIMO COM U software in Laptop and communication cable

Do you know how to make sure infeed modle working good? - folllow me--now, I attached picture from Manual you need prepare wires /jumers or using switch --see the red wires in picture

don't connect DC 600V bars to any other module, also disconnect flat cable (low voltage/control signal) only connect 3 AC power input to infeed module,

1st remove all block 63-9,64-9, 48-112-9 (ter.9 is 24VDC from module to outside) keep  NS1-NS2

power up --you need see green LED on , NO any red LED on, then you plug in block 63-9,64-9,--you will see green LED off--good, then you plug in 48-112-9 block you hear click (relay working) and yellow LED on, and you must measring DC about 600V on DC bar P600 to M600

make sure infeed module working good , then I will show how to do next steps

basically you can know infeed 16/21 kw module is 60% good, --infeed function, this module has 2nd function called regenaration --when spindle motor is in stop phase , it can feedback energy to the power source--to 3 phase AC--back to power supply network.--that function most people don't know, or they know but do not know how to test.

answer my question--do you connect reactor ( or chock --the 3 phase big coil)--in between power supply (3AC 400V) and infeed ac input? --that is "must be" condition

Ok, that is quit simple, you must have good power section , also good 611U control card

Same squency I showed you last week, use known good AC motor, Using SIMO COM U too set up make AC motor running (without encoder or resolver feedback)

This set up making sure all you componets GOOD, the spindle motor --is still unknown.
