communication between S7-300 and Simodrive611U

I'm new at the forum. I'mTurkish so excuse me for my english. I have Simodrive611U with 1FK7 servo motor. I must control this system with S7-300 via profibus. But i have no idea what can i do... |

Dear Sir The connection and operation of your 1FK motor to S7 via 611U on profibus is not a simple task. I would suggest havng a look at the following link to start with. The give our Turkish Office a call, Im sure they can help you further. I did everything about SimoDrive. I must now Control Telegramms. The all of SimoCom paremeters is ok. what can i do about control telegramms. Do i need some software? (for example Drive-ES) |

Greetings: Since you already have SimoCom U software, the easiest way to control Simodrive 611U by Simatic S7-300 is by using the Simodrive 611U Toolbox. The toolbox can be downloaded from the same place you obtained the SimoCom U software or it should be located on the CD you received. There is a special function block (FB83) written by Siemens and there is documentation available in English and German for this. You will need to select PPO type 5 which is described in the 611U Function Description Manual. First configure your hardware in STEP 7 and then call FB83. There are seveal parameters that need to be set in FB83 to get it to work for you. It's not that difficult. Hope this helps... |
