Hi Salma & Nemo, are there any entries in the WinCC logfiles? Yes! please see attachment. Is the serial cable pluggedat your red. servers? Yes! Remember that there are a series of check boxes in the Redundancy Editor that control what is synchronised and when. Is it possible that it's not configured as expected? Yes! All the checkboxes in the Redundancy Editor have been ticked. Secondly it can take up to 15minutes for the servers to synchronise. Did you wait this long? Yes! Waiting time is around 3 hrs by now. fyi, There is a small different configuration in WinCC for the servers, 'using OPC DA to pass information across servers for internal tags'. Hope this does not cause the Alarm synchronisation problem. regards kee chan yeat Attachmentdiagnose.zip (549 Downloads) |

Hi Salma/Nemo, I've tried the redundancy servers again. I've clean up the previous error, please take a look and the new error in the log files. The scenario is the same as before! During 1 server down, following scenarios happened: [1] a binary output was SET and CLEAR (when server is back, the status is already back to it's original state. [2] a binary input was SET and CLEAR (same as above) My questions are (based on the above scenario) [1] Is it possible that online synch dont considerate those bits which toggle, by the time the server is back, they look normal to it? [2] Online synch dont take care of binary output which is send to IED? [3] will the online synch capture everything happening during one server down regardless of what their status during the recovery of server? why i said so! Because I saw two signals (BIs) are captured during the server down, and these two signals which have a state change in the view of the shutdown server when it's back inoperation. regards kee Attachment01062006.zip (542 Downloads) |
