Hi everyone, Currently, I'm using WinCC V8.0 udp 4. I have an OPC UA communication set up, and I'm conducting a connection test with a Beckhoff PLC using CODESYS. So far, everything is working perfectly. The thing is, in the future, we'll have around 30/40 PLCs, and we want to use structures in the OPC variables of the PLC. There's something I'm not doing correctly. I've followed the following manuals and also tried with Siemens, but it's worse in this latter case because it doesn't let me create the structure and gives me an error: usefull links: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/do/en/view/109818894/125004193675 https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/do/en/view/109818894/125004220939 I'd like to replicate a similar setup to the example provided for PROFINET, but in OPC UA. 1- We can see the required structure, then it will be linked to an object variable in the installation (DB of a motor, flange, drive, etc., would be its equivalent). 2- Declared object variables that will be linked to said DBs. Do you know how to it? Also, if anyone has insights on how to achieve this or if there's a method to import OPC variables from Excel, it would greatly help. We've attempted it, but there are still with some issues. Thanks a lot for your help. Regards. |
